Guestアカウントを使えるようにする

パソコンに登録していないユーザーを共有フォルダーなどにアクセス可能とするアカウントがGuestアカウントです。ネットワークをワークグループ環境で構築している場合は便利なアカウントですが、セキュリティ上危険を伴いますので最低限の利用に留めておいたほうが無難です。何も設定していないパソコンではこのGuestアカウントは無効化されていますので、利用する場合は明示的に有効化する必要があります。

まずコントロールパネルを開いて、その中にあるシステムとセキュリティをクリックします。

さらに管理ツールをクリックします。

管理ツール一覧が表示されるので、コンピューターの管理をダブルクリックします。

表示される「コンピューターの管理」画面で、システムツール-ローカルユーザーとグループ-ユーザーをクリックします。

真ん中のペインに表示されているGuestが下矢印付きのアイコンの場合、このGuestアカウントは無効化されている事を表しています。下矢印がない場合はすでに有効化されていますので以降の操作は不要です。

プロパティをクリックします。

表示される「Guestのプロパティ」画面で、アカウントを無効にする(B)のチェックを外してOKボタンをクリックします。
